Plant Hire Our Plant Hire Division maintains a full range of 360º excavators ranging from 2 ton to 70 ton, with various attachments available for all. The range of plant and equipment we keep is comprehensive and enables us to supply a diversity of projects from earth moving contracts, deep sewers and outfalls, drainage, roads and infrastructure works. To compliment our contracts division and the demand from other demolition contractors we maintain a range of specialised demolition plant and equipment, shears, concrete pulverisers, grapples, magnets and the old-fashioned demolition ball. Skip Hire We provide skips from 8 cu.yds to 40 cu.yds to meet domestic and commercial requirements. Our vehicles are radio controlled to ensure an efficient operation. Our prices are extremely competitive. Crushing & Screening Our on-site crushing service is a very economical method of recycling various products during the demolition and soft strip process. Our mobile crusher has worked throughout Scotland providing crushed materials suitable for re-use. Nicholson prides itself on the quality of its crushed materials. 'Quality In - Quality Out!' - with large quantities of our crushed concrete being used variously in site rehabilitation, car park construction, pipe bedding and general fill. All this adds up to a significant saving for the Client, and a reduction in the quantity of waste sent to a landfill site.
